Ohio Northern University(ONU) welcome you to our beautiful, friendly, and vibrant college community located in Ada, Ohio. ONU is founded in 1871, we have a rich history in hosting students from Japan, we have many Japanese students currently studying in all four colleges: Arts & Sciences; Business; Engineering; and Pharmacy. ONU offers high national ranking, good quality, and small class size programs at affordable cost with up to $20,000 international student scholarship per year. As a private high ranking institution, we care about every international student's well-being and success when you start the application process with us, my colleagues and office staff will guide you through every step of the way until you complete your programs 4 years later. The Res Life and Dinning Services departments will ensure you enjoy happy meals and safe & sound night rest daily. The Student Success Tutor Services and Career Services will provide support when you need it academically. Office of International Admissions and Office of International Student Services will take care of you just like your friends and families in Japan. 【1】留学前と今の気持ちの変化について。
留学前はとにかく不安で、自信が持てなかったです。日本の大学在学中に何度か短期間語学留学を経験したこともあって英語には抵抗がなかったものの、現地の大学に馴染めるかとても不安でした。現在は社交団体である Greek Life に所属し多くの友人にも恵まれ、充実した生活を送っています。とにかく笑顔で、そして自信を持って積極的に交流することが大事だということに気付きました。
